There are five different output options available from Report Generator on the Output tab.

Printer Selecting this output method will send all of the results directly to the printer selected on the Load/Save/Printer tab

Mailshot Using this output method you can directly merge the search results into a printed mailshot. You will need to have created a template letter under the Standard Letters section of Form Designer to merge into.

File You can output the Report Generator output to a single text file in a format known as Comma Separated Values or CSV. This file can then be provided to a professional printer as a basis for a mailshot or can be imported into Microsoft Excel.

When you select the File output method the default options are already set for the standard CSV file, simply click on Output Report and enter a file name when requested to create the file. For ease of use we recommended that you save this file My Documents or the Desktop.

Viewer You can display the output of the report directly to the screen by using the Viewer option.

Select eh radio button next to the option and then click the Output Report button.

Email Mailshot Using this output method you can directly merge the search results into an e-mail mailshot. You will need to have created a template letter under the Standard Letters section of Form Designer to merge into. You will also need the Email/SMS module installed to access this feature.
