Appointments - Creating Optometrists

Each of the optometrists should be added to the system so that appointments can be booked for them.
- Click on the in the top left of the screen.
- Go to Maintain > Patients > Staff.
- Enter Surname and Forename(s), Initials and Title.
- Enter a Short Name for the optometrists. This will act as a short reference.
- Select the appropriate option of either O.O. or D.O. or leave both unticked if neither apply.
- Tick the Allow Appointments check box.
- You also have the opportunity and this point to add the Contact Details and the Health Authority information for the Staff Member. Information such and List Number and Health Authority Name will be passed into the eGOS application for ease of use.
- Click the icon when finished to save the record.
