Activating Enclosures

The Active Enclosures tab within Recall displays a list of Enclosures and their status. It also provides a quick way to activate or de-activate enclosure groups. You cannot activate/deactivate single enclosures from this screen.

  • Select the Active Enclosures tab
  • Select the Enclosure Group from the list of available groups
  • Toggle Active checkbox to turn on or off the Enclosure group.

To activate/deactivate individual enclosures you will need to enter the maintenance screens.

  • Click on the optisoftorb.jpg in the top left of the screen
  • Go to Maintain>Recall>Enclosures
  • Use the search box or the built-in search list to locate the required enclosure
  • To activate/deactivate the enclosure toggle the Active checkbox. This status will, however, be over-ridden by the status of the group that the enclosure is assigned to.
