Creating Staff Members

To create a new member of staff

Click on the optisoftorb.jpg in the top left

Select Maintain>Patients>Staff to open the Staff Details screen

Enter the new staff member’s details into the appropriate fields. Note that the Short Name is used as a reference in certain modules and should be no more than three or four characters.

Ensure that you select the correct check box(s) to mark whether they are an O.O. or D.O.

If the new staff member is to be added to the Appointments module, ensure that the Allow Appointments check box is selected.

Click the savebutton.jpg to save the new staff member to the database.



Amending Staff Members

To amend an existing member of staff

Click on the optisfotorb.jpg in the top left

Select Maintain>Patients>Staff to open the Staff Details screen

To locate the existing staff member either use the search box or click on Built-In Lists>All to view a list of all staff.

Once you have selected the staff member to edit make the required changes and click savebutton.jpg to save the changes.
