There are a number of different ways to book appointments.

The first, and simplest, way is booking an appointment for the Active Patient. If the patient does not currently exist in your database you can use a Temporary Patient to allow you to book an appointment quickly.

  • The current Active Patient is automatically selected.
  • Select the relevant appointment type. This will configure the end time of the appointment automatically for you, but there is nothing from stopping you shortening or extending the end time if necessary.
  • Click the saveandcloseicon.png button to book the appointment.

If the Active Patient is not the patient you wish to book the appointment for, you can search for the required patient whilst in the middle of booking the appointment.
