Depending on the modules you have, Stock levels can be reduced in either of the following ways

Decreasing Stock Levels within Stock

Check the details above for entering increases in Stock level. If you wish to decrease Stock levels, repeat the process and enter a negative value into the quantity. This will decrease the Stock level accordingly

Decreasing Stock Levels through Cash

When you sell a frame through Cash there is a button marked Colour & Size:

If the Colour and Size button is coloured green then the item currently has no Stock level. It is still possible to choose a colour and size, which leads to the creation of a negative stock level for that item. Alternatively you can choose not to select a colour and size, and proceed by checking the price and quantity, and clicking OK.

If the button is red then the item does have a Stock level and you must select a colour and size. If you attempt to proceed with the transaction without having done so, you will be prompted to make that selection.

You will not be able to complete the sale until you select a colour and size.

After clicking on the Colour and Size button, you will be presented with the familiar Stock screen with the option to choose which combination of colour and size you want the stock to be reduced for.

The relevant box for each size and colour displays the current stock level for that item.

Miscellaneous items are automatically removed from Stock if they are Stock items. Negative Stock will be created if you sell more than are available.

If you are transferring a Dispense into Cash then items will not be removed from Stock. You must make the adjustments when you are confirming the Dispense, as detailed under the Decreasing Stock levels through Dispensing section.
