By default, Spectacle Dispensing is set to dispense the same lens for both eyes. If you wish to dispense two different lenses then you will need to click on the Separate Eyes button at the top of the screen.
Based on the patient’s prescription, the filter, material and type chosen, the Lenses tab will provide you with a selection of optically suitable lenses.

*Select the Manufacturer’s Catalogue or Lens Filter you wish to dispense a lens from. For more information see Creating Lens Filters
*Select the preferred lens. If you have chosen to dispense the eyes separately you will need to select the lens for each eye.
*Select the Vision Type for the lenses, if you are using the Both Eyes setting the left will copy the settings on the right eye.
*Select any Tint and/or Coat options to be applied.
*Select the Material for the lenses.
*Select any Lens Extras as required.
*If the selected lens requires an Edge Thickness is specified then the ET box will activate to allow you to type a value in.

Depending on the type of lens being dispensed you will need to fill in some further information, for example for a single vision lens you will be required to specify which PD you want to use. Again, if you are dispensing for both eyes, the left eye will automatically copy what is entered in the right.
The Glazing Charge will be filled in automatically based on the settings you have specified, see Glazing Charges
