Suppliers are used by the Ordering module where product manufacturers can be assigned to a default supplier.

Create Supplier

Suppliers’ details can either be added manually or downloaded from a list of supported suppliers on from the internet.

Manually Adding Suppliers
To enter a supplier manually you would follow the procedure below.

Click on the in the top left hand corner
Select File > System > Suppliers to open the Supplier Maintenance screen

Enter the details of the new supplier.
The Short Name should be no more than 4 characters
Place a tick in the appropriate checkboxes for item availability
Click the button to save the changes.

Downloading Suppliers
It is possible to download the catalogues of a number of lens suppliers directly into Enterprise from the internet. Please contact support for more information of how to enable and use this feature.
