Hi,

On current version of .net, we have an issue in changing address for a patient - if town or county field have been previously completed, any attempt to remove this entry results in the original entry re-appearing once the save button is pressed. Although we can overcome this by manipulating the entry in each field, this will cause issues with formatting letter etc in future using these database fields.

As a separate but related question, is there any chance of integrating Royal Mail postcode database / address search, speeding up entry and reducing formatting issues?

thanks

John

Hi John,

Thanks for your post.

I'll log the bug for you and let you know when it's complete. This will then be included in the next software update.

In relation to the postcodes, yes we can install any of your local postcode areas to help with data input. These are sold by postcode pre-fix area i.e. YO, DN, etc... and are an additional £5 a month, per pre-fix.

Just let us know which ones you require, and we can install them pretty much straight away for you.

thanks,

Adam

Thanks for that, Adam… I look forward to getting the update. I remember now why I haven’t got the postcode finder installed! We cross 3 postcode prefixes, so it would be disproportionately expensive for a small volume.
