Optisoft User Success At The Optician Awards Set To Continue In 2012
January 2, 2012
Congratulations to all Optisoft users who had a soaring success at the Optician Awards 2011, showing that practices are taking full advantage of the technology now on offer and have come out tops. The Optician Awards ceremony this year was a swanky Strictly Come Dancing affair, and many of our users waltzed off with an array of nominations and awards.

One of Optisoft’s long time users, Emma from A J Rawling, reached the finals and exclaimed, ‘It was fantastic to be shortlisted for the Dispensing Optician of the Year Award. We work very hard to provide an excellent service to all our patients. Keeping in contact is so important and we have found the Optisoft Patient Recall system to be hugely beneficial in assisting our busy town centre to recall our patient easily.

Eyediology Opticians reached the final for Fashion Frames Practice of the Year. Ravi Sohal quoted, ‘We really have been pleasantly surprised with how well 2011 panned out for us. We have been able to effectively manage our Optisoft database and target specific and relevant offers to our patients. The choice of fashion frames we provide has never been greater and identifying the right products to interested patients helps differentiate the service we provide.’

Susan Park Optometrist of SV:EYE was deservedly nominated for Sports Vision Practice of the Year and has had a successful 2011. Established in Bangor, they have been with Optisoft for 10 years. Throughout that time patients and customers have been offered a diverse and unique selection of fashionable and quirky frames. A full range of optical services are available including Private, NHS and children's eye examinations and contact lenses. When asked for the keys to her practice success, Susan Park said, ‘With me being so busy with the sports vision side of the business, Optisoft has given me peace of mind and made things much easier, particularly with my scheduling and the recall letters. Knowing that they are generated automatically means that there is one less thing to worry about. As my sport vision schedule gets increasingly hectic, I’m looking forward to using Optisoft’s new marketing facility.’

All in all 10 of our users reached the finals and won awards, so have you got your entries ready for the upcoming Opticians Awards? The closing date for applying for the Optician Awards 2012 is Friday 20th January 2012, so get your skates on!
